UPDATE (11/27/24): New Deadline: Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. Due to the overwhelming inquiries regarding the registration process for the 2025 American Rocketry Challenge and the Thanksgiving holiday, we've decided to extend the registration deadline.

Registration for the 2025 American Rocketry Challenge opens at 9:00AM ET on June 3, 2024. The application portal will close at 11:59PM ET on December 1, 2024. The American Rocketry Challenge is the world’s largest rocket contest, with over 5,000 students nationwide competing annually. The contest provides students in 6th – 12th grades the opportunity to design, build, and launch model rockets and gain hands-on experience solving engineering problems. The Challenge is open to the first 1000 teams that submit a completed application, including payment of $165, between June 3 and December 1, 2024.

Sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association, the National Association of Rocketry, and more than twenty aerospace industry partners, including NASA, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Department of Defense, the challenge is the aerospace industry premier STEM program.
